Just a Thought

Imagine me

A careless notion,

Drifting,

Happy, in perpetual motion,

Somewhere between

Heaven and the deepest ocean.

Imagine me

In my despair,

Struggling,

Aghast, as a poet prepares

To pen me down

Still savouring his new idea.

Examine me,

Now, in black and white,

Sustaining

Opinion from the Left and the Right,

Alternately

Causing satisfaction or doubt.
