More Than a One-Night Stand

Lynn Higham

Flicks his underpants with his toe

to catch them adept in his hand.

Beware the boss with libido.

‘He’s married already, you know,’

they warn me, ‘stay clear, understand?’

Flicks his underpants with his toe

Slam-dunks them against the window.

I’m falling in love with this man.

Beware the boss with libido.

Kick back!  Enjoy!  Go with the flow,

Shift to fifth, who knows where we’ll land?

Flicks his underpants with his toe.

There’s no time to lose now, and so,

Together, as one we shall stand.

Beware the boss with libido.

My time’s nearly done, we must go

to the moon and back, hand-in-hand.

Flicks his underpants with his toe,

Beware the boss with libido.
